I always get a little nervous at weddings when it’s time for the kiss. I’m always afraid I will miss this important part of the ceremony because every kiss is different. Sometimes the officiant announces the couple and instructs the groom to kiss his bride. This gives me plenty of time to position my camera, focus, and adjust the exposure if I need to. Other times the officiant just walks away and the bride and groom just give a quick peck. (After which I pray that I caught it).
Well, a few weeks ago in Conneaut Lake, PA, I witnessed the perfect wedding kiss! I had plenty of time to aim, fire, and fire again. In fact, I probably had enough time to go out to my car, change batteries, and return to catch the end of the dip. Alison and Keith’s entire day was this perfect.
